How to Organize Your Conversion or Road Trip Van?

So, are you hitting the roads this season and have loads of items to pack for a limited VAN space? Undoubtedly, it would be overwhelming, especially when you have too many items and must organize them wisely. Well, now you don’t have to worry, as I am sharing my carry-on essentials to organize conversion or road trip van in Shelley Style. So, let’s begin.

How to Organize Your Car, Travel Trailer, Conversion, or Road Trip Van for Your Next Expedition

From my past trips, I have realized there is no need to carry everything along and clutter my car. So, whenever I plan my road trips, I analyze the place I am going to and then list what I probably would need.

Thus, the first pearl of wisdom is to

Plan to carry your belongings according to the place and what you would need the most.

Now, the next step is to make a list of what to carry. It should consist of the things that you think are necessary and must have in your van.

For instance, when we travel, I always carry Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer.
Since we overcame the pandemic, I have become more cautious and carry my hand sanitizer with me in my bag and car. It is antibacterial and kills 99.9% of bacteria; it does not occupy much space.
Along with that, the next most important thing is a First Aid Only All-purpose Emergency kit.
It holds 260 pieces in a compact casing to treat and provide immediate medical treatment in case of emergency.
Wherever I go, I always make sure to give my makeup a final touch-up, so I have a foldable mirror in my bag.
Kintion Wheat Straw Compact Mirror  is exactly what I need. It is a lightweight and compact mirror that is eco-friendly, plus it offers 1x/3x magnification, which is exactly what I want.

As a woman, you know how difficult it is to carry foundation, primer, moisturizer, bronzer, serums, etc., openly in any bag as they can spill all over and stick to everything.
To keep them all together in one place, I like the Clear travel makeup bag by Soimeat
It is a transparent case with leather and a zipper finish, perfect for carrying my makeup and toiletries.
Because it involves spending time in the van, there must be a consistent power supply source. So, when I needed a portable and compact power station for the vehicle, I chose the Jackery Explorer 1000W,
which offers great power and also works as a home backup generator.
In order to secure my leftover food items, the SpaceAid WrapNeat dispenser storage is my favorite kitchen gadget.
It secures foil and plastic wraps in the same place. It also cuts and labels the plastic wrap and foil rolls of 12 inches. So, after I bought it, I didn’t have to look for scissors.
Since there are not many cabinets in my van, so, I made sure to use every space wisely and got Magnetic Spice Racks for the Refrigerator.
It attaches to our minifridge just like fridge magnets and sticks securely, does not fall with the jumps, and keeps my counter clean, too.
Keep everything tidy is not just all about organizing; in fact, you need to keep them clean too, so

Eufy by Anker HomeVac Lightweight Vacuum is a mini portable vacuum cleaner that I use to get rid of the dust particles that my hand and fingers can’t reach. It is battery-powered and charges with Micro USB Connectivity.

A moving van means there is a lot of spilling, and I cannot compromise on this. I have to keep it clean, neat, and organized.
The Microfiber cloth roll and the tear towel are my saviors.
I just tear one or two pieces of paper and wipe it all with a dry cloth or sometimes a little damp cloth to clean the tiniest dust particles on the counter or other things.
Funest 3-gallon Bathroom Trash Can bags ideally fit in small trash cans. The best part is that they effectively conceal the odors.
In case you smell any odor, you can have a Hanging Air Freshener in your van.
The Hanging Car Air Freshener Fragrance Diffuser is what I have and suggest. This gives my vehicle a very refreshing aroma and eliminates unwanted smells.
With the many trips I have made to date, I have learned not only to organize but always to plan ahead and be prepared for any situation.
So, for that, the most important thing is,
To carry your essential vehicle documents so you don’t get into trouble.
I keep my vehicle registration and insurance card in my  It is compact yet spacious enough to secure all my vehicle documents in one place.
The YRU Military-Grade Phone Mount  is a good option as it can easily be attached to the dashboard or the windscreen with strong suction. You need to follow the GPS to stay on the right route.
But don’t forget that using a phone while driving is illegal, especially on a highway and encountering sharp and blind turns. You have to be very careful about the roads.
Finally, the truck is the most significant storage area.
Hence, you have to be more organized and not cluttered. Here, I recommend the Car Storage Collapsible Multi-Compartment.
It takes less space and organizes your stuff exactly how you want it to be.
Now you are all set to organize your convertible van with these listed items. I hope the Shelley Style helped you to be more organized. Happy Traveling.
