SeaWorld to Disney World to Universal Studios: It was a Happy Start to December, friends! Wow, what a busy last week it was!!
Recently, I made the journey to Orlando, immersing myself in the enchantment of Disney World, the aquatic wonders of SeaWorld, and the thrill of Universal Studios.
From adrenaline-pumping rides to mouthwatering meals, this trip had it all.
If you’re planning your visit, take notes—and don’t forget your walking shoes!
Here are my FAVORITE walking shoes! Allbirds Women’s Wool Pipers Casual Sneakers I just got back from the Disney World Parks for Thanksgiving break. Plus, Universal Studios and SeaWorld so we were on the go!
If you haven’t caught on by now, Jason and I don’t have children of our own so our nieces and nephews are our world.
Jason was busy back at home working on the new build, so I met my brother with the kids. We had an absolute blast!
I know Disney is a trip many families take each year, and I am here to share my experience and help you have the best experience and know what to wear and pack.
Check out all the essentials below to make your trip amazing. If you are planning a visit, take notes!
Travel Item’s You Cant Live Without
When you go to these parks it is key that you have comfortable clothes. Because you do a LOT of
walking! I wanted to make sure that I wore comfortable clothes that would last me all day long.
I wore comfy tennis shoes every day at the park. It warmed up to the low 80s most of the days, so I would
strip a layer off after the morning chill is gone.
Now, let’s start with
My Itinerary for the Fun trip from SeaWorld Disney World To Universal Studios…
Our trip begins from here.
Day 1-Sunday: Murder Mystery Company
A Sunday Evening at The Murder Mystery Company We kicked off our adventure with a suspenseful evening at The Murder Mystery Company.
This interactive dinner experience was filled with laughs, intrigue, and, of course, delicious food.
Guests had the choice of lasagna or bourbon chicken with veggies. I opted for the bourbon chicken, which was perfectly tender and flavorful.
Dessert was a delightful dilemma between apple pie and key lime pie—naturally, I went with my favorite, key lime pie.
The evening’s entertainment kept us on our toes, solving clues and guessing who did it while savoring every bite.
Day 2-Monday: Hollywood Studios Highlights
Day two brought us to Hollywood Studios, where we embraced our inner thrill-seekers. We started with the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, an electrifying ride that blasts you through loops and corkscrews to an Aerosmith soundtrack.
Next was the Tower of Terror, a freefall adventure that left us screaming (and laughing) as we plummeted down the haunted elevator.
We wrapped up with the delightful Slinky Dog Dash, a family-friendly coaster with a whimsical Toy Story theme.
Pro tip: Start your day early to beat the crowds and maximize ride time!
Day 3-Tuesday: Exploring the Depths of SeaWorld
SeaWorld on Tuesday was a splash—literally. Our first ride, Kraken, took us on a floorless coaster journey that twisted and turned above the park.
Next, we hopped on Infinity Falls, where we braved thrilling rapids and an epic drop that left us soaked.
Finally, Manta gave us the sensation of flying like a stingray, gliding and spiraling through the air.
Beyond the rides, we enjoyed observing marine life and appreciating SeaWorld’s dedication
to conservation.
SeaWorld didn’t allow you to bring your own snack.
Otherwise, overall, it was a day of fun and learning all rolled into one!
Wednesday: Adventure Awaits at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom offered a perfect blend of nature and imagination. We began with Avatar Flight of Passage, an immersive 3D experience that simulates riding a banshee through Pandora’s breathtaking landscapes.
Then we floated down the serene Na’vi River Journey, marveling at the bioluminescent flora. The highlight for animal lovers was the Kilimanjaro Safaris, where we saw majestic lions, giraffes, and elephants in a naturalistic
setting.
Animal Kingdom is a must-visit for its unique blend of adventure and conservation.
Thursday: A Thanksgiving Feast at Epcot
Thanksgiving at Epcot was a celebration of culture, flavors, and, yes, turkey legs! Although we only managed a few rides, each was memorable.
We soared over global landmarks on Soarin’, explored under the sea with Nemo and friends, and laughed along with Donald Duck on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.
The day was mainly about “eating around the world.” Some of the culinary highlights
included:
● Morocco: Champagne and baklava—an unforgettable pairing.
● Japan: Sushi and sake to satisfy our cravings.
● The American Adventure: A classic turkey leg, perfect for Thanksgiving.
● Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and Mexico: Each pavilion offered its own unique
flavors, but Mexico stole the show with dinner at San Angel Inn Restaurant.
The ambiance, nestled across from the Gran Fiesta Tour, was enchanting. If you’re visiting Epcot, don’t miss this global feast!
Friday: Holiday Cheer at Universal Studios
On Friday, we ventured into the world of movies at Universal Studios. First up was the heart-racing Revenge of the Mummy, a dark indoor coaster that combines thrilling drops with fiery effects.
Later, we enjoyed the cutest Christmas parade, featuring festive floats and beloved characters dressed in their holiday best.
Universal Studios offers a mix of excitement and charm, and the holiday touches made it
extra magical. We ate at a really great restaurant called Antojitos. It had the coolest bar with the best
margaritas. It included dinner and a show.
Saturday: A Magical Finale at Magic Kingdom
Our final day of Disney World to Universal Studios was the grand finale at Magic Kingdom. We tackled classic rides like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the timeless Space Mountain, and the swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean.
The newest ride, Tron, was a futuristic thrill that left us eager to ride again. Talk about how beautiful it is at Christmas and how all of the parks are beautifully decorated.
Of course, no trip to Magic Kingdom is complete without indulging in a Pineapple Dole Whip.
We Ended the Trip with…
We ended the evening with the Happily Ever After fireworks show. The dazzling display of lights, music, and
storytelling was the perfect way to conclude our Orlando adventure.
Here is a Pro tip
Disney Pro Tip: Buy the Lightning Lane Multi Pass tickets. We saved HOURS of not standing in LONG lines! You are able to reserve your spot in line and essentially almost walk right on the ride.
You can get these passes up to seven days if you’re staying at the Disney Resort or three days if you’re staying somewhere else. I highly recommend staying at the Disney Resort though! So much easier.
For snacks, we brought our own.Or bought the delicious and famous popcorn.
Overall it was an absolute amazing week with my family! If you are planning on going to Disney World any time
soon, I highly recommend doing what we did.
A Few Things That Came Handy During My Trip to Disney World to Universal Studios…
During my trip, Disney World to Universal Studios I have to feature the best Stroller that I used for this trip! This stroller was absolutely amazing and was a game changer for the kids for how long we were out all day.
It was a lightweight Double-side compact stroller for travel. The portable double stroller conveniently folds for easy transportation.
Since it was a week-long trip from Disney World to Universal Studios, I had to make sure that I had everything. At that moment, I chose Delsey Paris Chatelet Air 2.0.
It comes in 3 pieces, is quite spacious, and its spinner wheels move 360 degrees and roll smoothly on the floor. Made with a solid polycarbonate shell, it is available in six colors, so you have your choice.
I carried my daily essentials in Bagsmart Toiletries, which is also a makeup organizer, approved by TSA. I took their medium-sized organizer, which was quite spacious and could carry all my essentials.
However, to carry my important essentials things like passports and wallets, secure them in a Crossbody Sling Bag Purse and take them with you.
Perilogics Airplane Phone Holder Mount prevents your hands from fatigue. It is hands-free, multi-directional viewing at 360 degrees, which makes everyone enjoy streaming.
It is adjustable, so it fits with the majority of your cell phones. In case it does not fit your phone, it has a 30-day free return policy.
As I had to walk a lot during this trip, my Collapsible water bottle really helped me. It is a foldable, reusable, BPA-free water bottle, that is leakproof. You can carry it in your handbag bag, too.
While I was on the flight, I carried the EverSnug Travel Blanket and Pillow, which is a 2-in-1 with soft bags. It is available in nine colors. It can attach to your hand luggage sleeve.
You can take a nap during your flight using this blanket and pillow combo, covering your eyes with a silk sleep mask for sound sleep.
Here is a tip: be prepared according to the weather conditions, and apply sunblock to protect your skin from harsh UV rays so you can enjoy carefree. Always check the weather prediction. If it predicts for rain, you can carry this transparent raincoat, which is compact and lightweight.
A trip to Disneyworld is incomplete without a Disney Tank top and/or a Disney Sweatshirt. If you are a real fan or enjoying the Disney theme with family, you must get them along with this cute Minnie Mouse Ears Headband.
You can pair your Disney Tops and Sweatshirts with ColorfulKoala Women’s Leggings. These are high-waist, super comfy leggings which also keeps you warm. Or you can just pair them with a Women’s Long Dressy Cardigan Sweater, available in different colors.
For more cardigan options, you can consider Women’s Front Open Cardigan. As you have to walk and run a lot during your trip, choose the comfortable New Balance Shoes.
Accessorize with Thin Replacement Band Compatible Watches and a Baseball Cap, which is unisex, so your partner can wear it too.
